The Rock City Creatives Collective (R3C) is a community-driven effort by passionate creatives in Little Falls, NY. While many contribute to this initiative, the website, Discord server, and overall coordination are currently managed by Michael Vittiglio.

R3C is a network of local creatives, both formally and casually connected. Led by Michael Vittiglio, it serves as the communication hub for The Art Thing. We also proudly collaborate with:

• Little Falls Public Library
• Main Street Mercantile
• The Renaissance Pub

Currently, everything is completely free. Should any services require payment in the future, you’ll be notified well in advance. Some things will always remain free:

• Access to the Google Calendar for local events
• Read-only access to the Discord Server
• All basic information on our website

It’s simple! Submit your event via the contact form or share it in the #events channel on our Discord Server.

No sign-up required—unless you want to join the conversation. You can still:

• View the Google Calendar
• Access event listings and resources on the website

But if you’re looking to connect and chat in real-time with fellow creatives, the Discord Server is where the magic happens.

You can—but we don’t recommend it. The Discord Server works best as a standalone app for:

• Real-time conversations
• Community bonding (like chatting with friends!)

We chose Discord over traditional forums because we wanted a space that feels vibrant and connected—more like a community gathering than just another online group.

While social media platforms have their place, they often come with downsides like:

• Misinformation
• Privacy concerns
• Ad tracking

R3C is designed to be a local, intimate, and meaningful space for connection. We’re not trying to replace social networks—but we’re offering a refreshing alternative where community comes first.
