Why work alone?

The entire point of the Rock City Creatives Collective is to get people together. But does that mean that we want to isolate ourselves from the community? No way!

A few fantastic groups of people have already helped us both as an organization and individually. We like to think that each of these groups brings a different priority for us to help with and, in turn, help ourselves. R3C exists to bring us all together, so why not bring these wonderful folks into the fold?

As close as family

Some organizations might as well be R3C with a different name.

The Art Thing

The Art Thing is a local non-profit organization whose priority is to bring art to people in a way that is ubiquitous in our living spaces and respectful of the local culture. If you want to do an art installation or volunteer with cool people, reach out! You can also find them on our Discord under the #the-art-thing channel.

Funny story: Nick (co-founder of The Art Thing) and Mike (founder of R3C) met and started collaborating when they both heard from different people that they were working on similar projects. From that first meeting at That Little Place On Main, the marriage of the entities was all but set in stone. Reception to follow…

Very close friends and allies

There are also organizations that we’ve come to appreciate and work with regularly. There may not be too much overlap in our missions, but it’s clear that we hope to work together whenever we can. It’s so nice to have so many wonderful folks around us.

Little Falls Public Library

Everyone should support their local library, which goes doubly so for the folks in Little Falls! The Little Falls Public Library provides the public with many services, classes, and resources and is a lightning rod for the community. From their weekly Flash Fiction creative writing group to monthly events such as Little Falls Tech Support and Game Night, there is a wide array of activities to get involved in.

Don’t see something you think should be there? Just let them know! They have an incredible, caring staff ready to assist you.

Main Street Mercantile

Locally owned and run, Main Street Mercantile is one of the most charming businesses in town. Run by creatives (as you’ll notice the moment you walk in the door), they frequently offer meditation, open mic nights, and other goodness.

The Renaissance Pub

Are you needing a quick nibble or a cure for a parched throat? The good people at the Renaissance got you covered. Better yet, are you looking for a comedy night or an Irish music jam session? Perhaps a less-than-trivial Trivia Night? The Renaissance is always worth a visit if you’re in town.

Individuals are people, too! Wait, what?

We hope to someday have showcases for individual artists in town (and lord only knows, we already have a short list we are reaching out to). Reach out to us through our contact page; we will let you know as soon as we’re up and running.

Did we miss anyone?

We never want you to be left out in the cold. Contact us through our contact page, and we’ll respond as soon as possible to correct this injustice.
