Unrealized Potential
Anyone living in Little Falls (and the Mohawk Valley in general) knows that there is talent of all sorts here. The current state of the economy (and the influences of social media) would have the average person believe that they need to move to a big city to find talented individuals or other resources. We want to change that perception. We want to show the world (but most importantly, ourselves) that the Mohawk Valley is an incredible place to be as a creative. Most importantly, we aim to remind those assets to the community that they are not alone. We feel that the most important thing we can do is to bring people together.
The Challenge
In a modern day where social media and social networks are rife, one would think that it would be easy to find like-minded individuals. However, we have found that it is not the case. Too often, we see people who are talented and creative, but they are not connected to the community. Sadly, the idea of community seems like an ephemeral thing that happens at gatherings but little else. We want to change that. We want to bring people together and show them that they are not alone. We want to show them that there are others out there who are just like them.
The Approach
We also know that the solution can only work if its embraced and utilized. At the heart of it, the solution needs to be simple, affordable, and accessible.
